Music Library
Our local chapter maintains a library of organ music thanks to the generous music contributions of chapter members. The room and access are provided by St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, and the furniture was given by the late Alfred Schmidt. The library is in the lower level of the Education Wing of St. Stephen's Church, 215 North 7th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807. The library resides in four file cabinets and is open to members of the chapter during regular church office hours - 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. Keys to the file cabinets are available at the church office. Call the church office Parish Secretary Dennis Dieken, (AGO Member and who is also St. Stephen's organist/choirmaster) at (812) 232-5165 to be sure that the church is open.
We have a marvelous selection of music representing many of the great composers as well as the lesser known. All schools of music are represented from the Baroque to Contemporary. The music includes all levels of organ playing proficiency as well as instructional material. We also include VCR instructional tapes for playing the organ. There is some piano music also available to members.
At present all music is filed alphabetically according to composer.
